The responsibility of preparing youngsters to succeed in an ever changing and complex world falls on our shoulders. Our resilient, innovative and committed staff caters to this need. Government College of Education, Raipur, has always been proactive in empowering teachers. The major focus is on professional development of Teacher Educators, Teacher trainees and School Teachers of Chhattisgarh state. The Pre-service programs (B.Ed and M.Ed courses) and In-service programs are dedicated to improve the quality of 'Teacher Education' in our state.. Apart from these the institute also offers many other courses for the development of In-service teachers. Provision for intellectually challenging environment to teacher trainees to realize their full potential and their role in society is the key area of our concern. Our college provides opportunities to teacher trainees to enable them to become innovative thinkers and inspired learners to face their professional challenges.
